JERUSALEM. A city with thousands of years of history, happenings and important religious backgrounds of the Christian Community, Jerusalem is a globally noted tourist destination especially for the billions of Christians all over the world. MASADA is one of the most exciting and frequently-toured places in Israel, and relates a story of perseverance, power, faith, surrender, ambitions, and a tragic end. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth in any land mass (417 metres below sea level, to be exact). The quantity of water that evaporates from it is greater than that which flows into it, such that this body of water has the highest concentration of salt in the world PETRA the world wonder, is without doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. WADI RUM. This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. Here, it is the weather and winds that have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence as “vast, echoing and God-like... CAIRO. Located on the banks of the Nile River, Cairo is an amazing city. Home to ancient temples, tombs, Christian churches, magnificent Muslim monuments and mosques, the Egyptian Antiquities Museum (with the Tutankhamun Collection) and of course, the Pyramids of Giza. ALEXANDRIA is the second largest city in Egypt, located on the Mediterranean coast and has an atmosphere that is more European than Middle Eastern. It is a university town and a favourite with holidaying Egyptians. The Siwa Oasis is situated in the Western Desert close to the Libyan border. It is Egypt's most remote oasis town and, maybe because of this, the Siwans have developed their own distinct culture. LUXOR is often referred to as the worlds greatest museum and it is easy to see why. Once the ancient capital city of Thebes, Luxor is home to a large number of fascinating and varied historical sites. BAHARIYA. Set in a depression and covering over 2000 square kilometres, Bahariya Oasis is the lowest point in Egypt. Surrounded by black hills made up of ferruginous quartzite and dolerite. ASWAN is Egypt’s most southern city, larger but more quiet and chilled out than Luxor. It is here that the Nile is at its most beautiful, flowing through amber desert and granite rocks, round emerald islands covered in palm groves and tropical plants. Small enough to walk around, the pace of life in Aswan is slow and relaxing. ABU SIMBEL is a set of two temples located in the south of Egypt near the border with Sudan. Saint Catherine's Monastery & Mount Sinai is both the name of a collection of peaks, sometimes referred to as the Holy Mountains, and the biblical name of the peek on which Moses received the Ten Commandments.
